3. Our software products

3.1. The data to be processed

For processing by the program the data to be processed does not leave the computer on which it is installed. The data is processed locally. It is therefore not necessary to conclude a contract for data processing with us, as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3.2. Our license server

The program contacts our license server to verify compliance with the license terms. A small amount of information, such as the license code used and a hardware footprint, is transmitted to our license server and stored there. This happens among other things when a license code is entered.

3.3. Trial activation

If the user requests a trial activation, a license code will be sent to the email address specified for this purpose. This allows the user to test the program for one week free of charge and without any restrictions. In order to prevent individual users or companies from repeatedly applying for test activation, the email address, name and hardware footprint provided for this purpose are stored on our license server.
