| Universal matching |
|
With these functions, the columns to be used for the deduplication and the criteria to be applied can be defined freely. It can be determined for each column whether it should be included in the comparison or not. If it is to be included in the comparison, this may be in the form of a precise comparison, or also in the form of error-tolerant matching. The latter is automatically selected unless a precise comparison is to be conducted, and it can be configured using the degree of matching, from 1 to 100 percent match. Furthermore, it can also be determined whether a record should be skipped when the corresponding data field is empty, and how much emphasis this column should have in the calculation of the degree of matching for the whole record.
